You both had a fun day with Mommy & Daddy at a near by recreation center. You both love love love water and could be in it all day long.

lost the baby

On Monday August 29th your Mommy lost the little baby inside of her. It was very painful and very sad. It happened really early in the morning. But I was feeling better by the time you both woke up. As I was feeding you both your morning bottles I told you that I was hurting today, and had lost the baby.

Savannah, you got right off my lap, crawled over to the books, brought a book back, sat back on my lap, cuddled with me, as I read. Micah stayed on my lap and the 3 of us read that same both for about 20 minutes. It was such a sweet guster from you both. The rest of the day you both were so sweet to eachother and so sweet to your mother.

You are going to have another sibling

Friday August 12th was an unexpected day in our home. Mommy found out that she is pregnant again and going to have a baby. I was taking birth control so didn't think I could be pregnant, but felt that I was pregnant. Before Daddy came home from work we all walked down to the Dollar store and bought a pregnancy test. You were both with me in the bathroom when I took the test. When the 2 lines appeared, I smiled. I told both of you that you were going to have a little sibling. I didn't know what to do of who to tell so I started laughing out of pure surprise.

Savannah you came over to me and sat on my lap. You then cuddled with me. Micah saw this and came over too. It was sweet that you both wanted to comfort your mother. I think you understood that something exciting happened.

We don't know when the baby is due yet, but I am thinking sometime in March or April. So you will have a little sibling to play with. Ya!!! Mommy is really excited now.
