As we entered her room she started to cry and said, "My little twins are here." Her face light up at the sight of you both, and you could tell that she was so excited to meet you. First Great-Grandma held Micah and talked about how much he looked like her little Leif.
Then she held Savannah. Savannah, you normally cry when you are layed down in a sideways position. But today you let Great-Grandma hold you that way without crying. In fact you looked up and smiled at Great-Grandma most of the time. Grandma Martin kept saying that she prayed for you both every night. Tears continued to fall from her eyes every time she talked about her prayers. She kissed you both over and over, and loved you. It was a very nice visit.
On Friday (Oct. 29th) you both meet a lot of new relatives including the Brooks family, Aaron & Katie's family and Great-Grandpa Kanooth. Grandpa Kanoooth lives out in Ridgefield all by himself, in the home that Grandpa Kanooth grew up in. He was surprised by our visit and loved every minute. In fact he kept saying, "It is so good to see everyone!" We put Micah in one arm and took some generation pictures, then Savannah was placed in the other arm. Great-Grandpa was surprised at first but then relaxed and enjoyed the pleasure of holding both you sweet babies.
